Jason's V8 race day

Well, seeing as how i am the most awesome girlfriend in the world, for jason's birthday this year i bought him a V8 race experience at queensland raceway. So basically he got to drive a modified V8 BA falcon around the track 8 times. It was such a great day and he got to race against one of his mates who works next door to him which made it more exciting too. The only down side to all of this was that i had to get out of bed at 5AM - darn near killed me i tell ya.

Anyway - here are some of the photos:

These are the guys that he raced with - the one on the left is Steve who works at the radiator shop next to jason's work and the guy in the middle is Rick (Steve's brother in law).

Just an action shot of out on the track - i was so glad that he got the pot hole people car - it sounded the nicest of all of the cars.

This photo here is definitely the pride photo (overtaking Rickey) i'm sure that this one will be printed and shown to a few people. LOL!

This was coming back in to pit lane if you look hard you can see the massive smile he has on his face - that was worth every penny.

Jason kicked ass goin round the track - he did so good you'd almost think he'd done it a million times before. Even the instructor (who they make go with you) asked him if he'd done this before cos he was soo good at it. I was very much the proud girlfriend watchin him it was great.

I am thinking that it looked like so much fun that next year i will give it a whack see if i can race around the track as well as i would like to think i can.
