Goodbye Skyline

The skyline left us on Monday 3rd of December. It was a sad day for us so I thought I'd share with you the photos I took before it left - I wasn't here when it actually drove away (thank goodness I think I would've cried and cried as oppposed to the plain old crying i did while it was still here)

The home where it once lived................. :(

Goodbye skyline - We'll miss you. :(

My christmas tree

Not too much to say about this one but here are the pics of our christmas tree:

It looks pretty hey - I think that the only thing that would make it look better is some Riley created decorations!!

Dave and Jason in the pool

The other night Dave and Jason were just swimming around in the pool and they looked kinda cute (sorry Dave) so dad decided to bring out the camera which i then stole off him and took some cute pics:

The last two were just for fun!!

Pics of Elle and the kids

The other weekend (sorry its taken so long) Elle was at Dave and Mandy's with the kids - Rory was there too... And so was the old fart (dad) and his camera (my toy) and so i decided to take some photos of the kids and them playin a little - I'll include some of my favourites. ENJOY!!

Sorry they are on the side but if you tilt your head then they look the right way up!! LOL!!

4WD ing at landcruiser park

So yesterday (Saturday 17th) we went, with Douggie, on a day trip to landcruiser park again. I was rudely woken up at 5.45AM by the alarm clock so that we could leave by 6.00 well we got away by 6.30 am so not too bad an effort. We arrived at cruiser park at about 9 - 9.30 and were immediately into it. They were having a winch competition too so basically there were quite a few guys (and girls) with FULLY kitted out 4WDs they were insane and we stopped to watch them for a while and while we were watching, one of them rolled on to their roof and landed on the drivers side of the car. It was pretty scary to see but seeing as how there were in a competition it didn't stop there for them, they jumped out hooked up the winch and pulled themselves back on to their feet. They were unable to drive to the finish line (which was all of 5 m away) so their challengers towed them in and they finished their time trial. Pretty awesome actually.

So anyway we did do some 4WDing ourselves the boys did all the fun stuff and I was there to take the photos. (of course) So here they are :

Then came the puddles:

That is actually Douggie's Patrol but you can't really see it for the water. (or should i say muddy slush?)

And I know this wasn't any of our guys but I've got to post it these guys were crazy:

Working bee at Dave and Mandy's Day 2

On day 2 we managed to get even more painting done and more pailings nailed up on the railings to make something that resembles a fence (and looks fantastic might i say)!! All was going well except the darn rain would start up just as we did, so we'd pack everything up and get out of the rain then it'd stop so we'd get everything ready and start again and so would the rain!! Anyway - here are the pics:

I promise that not all of the day was taken up with posing - we did work too!!

The paint tin - EVIL PAINT TIN (means i have lots of work to do)

Working bee at Dave and Mandy's

Today we were all at Dave and Mandy's to help out building their fence, yesterday I helped them with putting some posts in while Mandy was busy painting the railings and posts. Today the boys put up the rest of the railings and Mandy and I continued painting (if I never see a paint brush it will be way too soon.)

Watch out for more from tomorrow - we still have about 200 more pailings to paint and nail up to make it into a fence!
